Nissan GT-R, Unlimited Excitement

The Nissan Gt-R is synonymous with sportiness, just like its predecessor for decades, the Skyline, is undoubtedly the perfect alternative to sports cars of European origin.
Nissan GT-R, unlimited excitement

For those who like speed and excitement. Those who dream of driving a powerful and aggressive sports car, if they want to feel like Vin Diesel in Fast and Furious . For all this and also for quiet driving in the city, the Nissan GT-R is a model that stands out for its combination of strength and elegance.

This 2-door coupe has been on the European market since 2009. It debuted in Japan in 2007 and a year later in the United States and Canada.

Although essentially a sports car for commercial use, its frequent “cameos” in video games like Need for Speed encourage speeding up.

Power in its purest form

Powered by a “double overead” engine (Nissan VR38DETT twin-camshaft, 6-cylinder, twin-turbo), the GT-R is the definition of power. According to the results of some independent tests carried out in different parts of the world, it is capable of developing 570 hp on all four wheels. With this, it is a model capable of going from 0 to 100 km / h it takes only 2.9 seconds and reaches up to 315 km / h speed.

Nissan GT-R: a video game car

In addition to appearing in Need for Speed or Forza MotoSport , its link with video games goes much further. Polyphony Digital , a division of Sony and creators of Gran Turismo , another “classic” title, participated in the design of the car. The mission of this company was to configure the multifunction screen that crowns the interior of the car.

Exterior design

The 2017 version of this sports car was totally redesigned. Without giving up its imposing aesthetic appearance, the main premise of these changes is to reduce aerodynamic resistance: in the front area, a wider grille and holes around the front wheels.

Nissan side skirts now prevent air from seeping under the vehicle. With this, in addition to favoring balance and grip, turbulence is significantly reduced. At the rear, the rear bumper is wider. This prevents the accumulation of hot air masses and the cooling of the exhaust system is optimized.

equipment

Following the highest standards of luxury and quality, the masterminds behind the Nissan GT-R did not skimp on details when it came to outfitting the car in luxury:

  • 8 ”multi-function touch screen. It allows, among other things, to synthesize and personalize all the vital information regarding the operation of the car.

Basic aspects such as oil pressure or monitoring the air in the tires, as well as many other aspects.

Additionally, through this gadget, the Smartphone of whoever goes behind the wheel can be synchronized via Bluetooth connection. This makes it easy to answer or make phone calls, in addition to other communication functions.
