SEAT León, A Spanish Marvel
The SEAT León is a five-door, five-seater car produced since 1999 by the SEAT brand. Currently its third generation is marketed, which was presented at the Paris Motor Show in 2012.
This generation of the Leon was built under Volkswagen’s MQB platform, this new version of the compact brings with it a wide variety of conventional five-door bodies; three doors, Leon SC; Familiar bodywork, Leon ST. It is also offered as a sports model León Cupra, FR and Offroad León X-Perience.

Equipment and Safety
As for the equipment for the new SEAT León, it can include the new electric handbrake system, space for wireless charging of the mobile called Connectivity Box, digital instrumentation, keyless start system.
For the finishes, eight trim levels are available : Reference, Reference Plus, Style, Style Plus, FR, FR Plus and two new ones called Excellence and Excellence Plus .
The SEAT León can also equip new safety and driving assistance elements such as an active cruise control, an involuntary lane change alert, traffic sign recognition through its new camera and radar – located on the windshield and bumper – and automatic emergency braking.
Engines
The new Leon’s engine range has many possibilities. It starts in diesel with the 1.6 TDI of 90 horses and the new block of 1.6 lithos TDI of 115 CV is added. Above all in diesel, there is the 2.0 TDI with powers of 150 or 184 equines.
Among the gasoline engines are the 1.2 TSI with 110 hp, the 1.4 TSI with 125 or 150 hp and the 1.8 TSI with 180 hp. Some mechanics may be associated with the DSG double clutch automatic transmission or 4Drive all-wheel drive.
The top engine of the León range is at the hands of the SEAT León Cupra with a 2.0 TSI block of 300 horsepower, which rivals that of other speed machines such as the Peugeot 308 GTi and the Ford Focus RS.
