Types of autonomous driving

Within this driving mode, there are two types of driving: semi-autonomous and completely autonomous. Fully autonomous cars are known not to be on the market for about 10 years.

Within autonomous driving there are different levels, which are given according to the participation that the person has in driving the car.

• On the other hand, there is level 4, which allows the car to circulate without any supervision from the driver, as long as it has all the route information.
• Finally, level 5 grants full autonomous driving. It does not depend on a human person, and is managed autonomously according to its security systems and sensors.

Disadvantages of autonomous driving

Self-driving cars have many more advantages than disadvantages. However, there are some disadvantages, disadvantages that are important especially at the time of its incorporation into the market.

One of the main problems is the cost of this type of vehicle. Initially, only a few will have the privilege to access them; over time, costs will become cheaper and there will be affordable options.

Another problem with introducing self-driving cars is pollution. Really, this would be a problem if there was no place to park and the car was left spinning; the vehicle could end up creating more pollution problems, unless they are electric or hybrid.
