The Lexus LC is positioned as one of the highest quality cars within the range of the Japanese manufacturer. This luxury model has two trim levels and has a powerful mechanics.

The exterior design of the Lexus LC

Above all, the exterior of the Lexus LC is striking. Specifically, the red Sonic color stands out , which leaves no one indifferent. Among the elements that surround the vehicle, the eye immediately fixes on the ribs on the bonnet, which add dynamism to a normally horizontal surface.

On the other hand, the rear seats are a little tighter than the front ones, as is normal in vehicles with these sporty characteristics and with a coupe-like roof drop. However, they are not at all uncomfortable.

Finally, the trunk can be opened by means of a button placed next to the left rear light to give access to its 197 liters of capacity.

Technical data on the Lexus LC

The mechanics of the Lexus LC are among the highest category of the Japanese brand: the LC thus mounts a naturally aspirated V8 gasoline engine of 5.0 liters. This achieves 477 hp of power at 7,000 rpm, while maximum torque is delivered at 4,700 rpm.

The technology of this engine is also equipped in the F models of the Lexus RC and the Lexus GS, although the exhaust system of the LC has important differences. As for its loudness, the LC has a valve that opens from 3,500 rpm to regulate the sound.

In addition, there are sound channels from the engine cavity to the passenger compartment. In this way, occupants can hear the attractive roar of the atmospheric thruster.

As for the approved consumption, this is between  8.1 and 8.5 liters per 100 km on the road. On the other hand, in the city it can amount to figures between 10.2 and 14.7 liters per 100 km. This high expense is not uncommon with such a bulky and powerful engine, but it can be optimized by following good driving practices.

Prices and finishes

The Lexus LC has two finishes in two different models, for a total of four variants. On the one hand, there are the LC 500h models, whose Luxury and Sport finishes cost 120,000 and 130,000 euros, respectively. On the other hand, there is the standard Lexus LC 500, which with the same finishes amounts to 140,000 and 150,000 euros.

With these prices and in terms of its power, the Lexus LC competes against high-end models such as the Mercedes-Benz S 500, the Maserati Gran Turismo Sport, the Aston Martin Vantage or the BMW M6. The Japanese brand thus offers us another high-class model and continues with a history full of high-quality vehicles.
