The interior of the Opel Corsa
The difference in the front seats compared to a compact is found in the size of the seats and in the width, although there is still a feeling of space. In the rear seats there is enough space for two adults to travel comfortably.
On the other hand, with 1.85 meters of height and the driver’s seat adjusted for that size, in the back there is enough space so that the knees do not touch the backrest.
By sitting behind the wheel of the Corsa and quickly we know how to achieve the correct driving position, since the steering wheel has depth and height adjustment. Meanwhile, the driver’s seat is also height-adjustable and the backrest tilt adjustment is millimeter.
As a negative aspect in the cabin, despite having good and wide settings, it is difficult to find an ideal and comfortable position because of a steering wheel with an exaggerated diameter, especially for such a small car.
However, in reality it is not only because of the diameter, but also the position of the instrument panel has an influence, which does not allow the steering wheel to be lowered as much as possible without covering up some of the information.
The mechanics of the Opel Corsa
The Opel Corsa is available with non-turbo petrol engines, the 1.4 75 hp and 90 hp, and also with two newly released engines, a 1.4 Turbo 100 hp and a 1.0 three-cylinder 115 hp, which is the most expensive and powerful.
On the other hand, a new engine has been introduced, which represents an intermediate point between the ECOTEC and the OPC, with 150 hp 1.4 turbo technology. Of course, the Opel Corsa also has diesel engines, with the 1.3 75 and 95 hp.
There is also a commercial version of a mixed goods vehicle, the Opel Corsavan. The difference of this model is that, based on the three-door Opel Corsa, it has panels, two seats and an extended trunk and separated from the passengers by a mesh.
The Corsavan offers a trunk with a capacity of 920 liters and a maximum load of 571 kilograms. This model is marketed with diesel and gasoline engines between 70 hp and 95 hp and can benefit from the IntelliLink entertainment equipment.
Opel Corsa prices
Prices for the Opel Corsa can vary across a wide range of prices due to its various engine options. With a base starting price is the 75 hp model for a price around 13,900 euros. At the top of the range, we find the model with the most complete finish for a price very close to 16,000 euros.
