The Fiat Multipla was a comfortable and spacious car, which had space for up to six people. Despite this, it was voted the ugliest car of 1999.
Its position in the ranking of the least attractive cars was due to the fact that it has a rather grotesque exterior, and with atypical lines and proportions. It is said to be the closest thing to a representation of an elephant man on four wheels.
